“Anil was such a handful at the beginning of the school year,” his teacher recalls. “He was constantly running defiantly out of class to play on the swings and would be disruptive during lessons.”
With great patience and persistence, however, Anil began to change. At the end of the year, his teacher moved the students to another class for one day so she could test the students one-on-one. As the students lined up to go to the other class, Anil sat still. His big eyes melted his teacher’s heart as he pleaded, “No ma’am. Your class.”
For the rest of the day Anil sat with his finger over his lips, showing his teacher he would stay quiet while she tested each student...he just wanted to stay there.
Everyday children just like Anil are being transformed as they hear about and experience the love and hope of Jesus at their schools.
